This morning we moved into our home...well at least all of our stuff. We are far from moved in, but all of our stuff is out of the storage unit. My mom, Jeni, Aunt Suzette and I unpacked the kitchen, but there is still so much stuff around. We had so many people come and help us move all of our stuff...THANKS!!! It is fun to be in the house and see our hard work finished on the house. But I really hate the mess. I don't know where to start and what to work on next.
We are excited to move back into our neighborhood by all of our friends. But I am sad to leave my moms house. We have loved living there with her...she does so many things to help out. She helped with laundry, cleaning, babysitting, cooking and many more things. My mom is the best and I love her so much. I appreciate her letting us live there. Thanks mom I love you!

Happy Birthday Andy
Tonight we all went to dinner at Magleby's. YUMMY! The sad thing is we went for Andy's birthday and he is allergic to shellfish. AJ and Rod ate their fare share. I love my family and I love being with them. I hope you have a wonderful birthday Andy...and I pray this next year is better than the past one.

House update
The paint on the house has been finished and I love it. The flooring in the entry and kitchen was mostly finished (we had to order a little more molding). I love it! Nick, Denae and Rod did the flooring and it looks so good.
Rod and Denae did the entry. After completing it Rod said that Poulsen's aren't just computer geeks anymore.
Nick did the kitchen.
The tile is being done today and should be finished Monday and the carpet will be installed on Thursday.

Girls
The Poulsen family has been in Disney World the last week. We were suppose to go but due to an eventful pregnancy I was told by my Dr. that it probably wasn't very smart to go. Grandma and Grandpa brought back the girls princess dresses. They have hardly gotten out of them. They wake up in the morning and want them on. Then all day we play in them. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa!!!

Our house
Our house is starting to come along. It is stressful trying to make the paint, carpet, flooring and everything work together. I know there are worse things in this world I could complain and worry about, but it is stressful. The paint is being started today. I have been taking some pictures so I can have before and afters. Here are a few of the before pictures so far.
This is the front of our new House. We are in a circle which I am very excited about.

Sorry the photo is a little dark.
Rod with the help of Jeremy changed this door way from an open arch to a closeable door.

I am very proud of Rod and the work that he has done on the house...he isn't a very handy man (and I am not being rude he will be the first to admit it) but is learning a lot along the way.
Rod and Nick and Denae also put bea board up in the girls room. I thought I took a picture, but I didn't. I will post one later. The girls room was stenciled with flowers all over the walls, doors, closet. I told Kate that they would be painted over and she told me no...I hope she isn't too mad.
Merry Christmas
I have had a hard time blogging lately. Not that I haven't had stuff to blog...just actually doing it. We had a wonderful Christmas. It was fun to spend Christmas Eve with Mom and AJ. The girls were so fun Christmas morning. They loved the jeep. Kate kept saying to Meggie I asked for this jeep so we both could have it. I love spending time with my family.

Homeless
The Poulsen family is now longer homeless. We bought the house in our old neighborhood. We have been patient and felt that that was were we were suppose to be and it has now worked out. We get the keys on Monday and then let the minor renovations begin. We are planning maybe about a month to get everything done and then we can move in. Kate is so excited to move back by her friends. This past week we actually looked at a new house and feel in LOVE (well I did) with it. Later that night I was asking Kate if she would like living in that house and she said "You told me we were going to move back by my friends" It was so sweet and sad. She has great little friends she loves to play with. Rod and I also have some wonderful friends in that neighborhood also and are excited to move back. As far as the other house it sold the next day for a lot more then we were going to offer. Obviously not meant to be.
Here is also a conversations Kate and I had today in the car
K: Mom do princess and Tinkerbell go patty?
M: Yes
K: Well I have never seen them go in the movie
M: Well going potty isn't something you would show in a movie
K: I don't think they do
M:you are probably right
Try explaining to a 4 year old that isn't appropriate to show in princess movies.
