December fun

December seems to have just flown by.
We did a lot of fun things
I love Christmas time
but I am glad it is over
my house is clean
toys are put away
but I am not looking forward to Kate going back to school tomorrow
i don't like the crazy schedule of school, preschool and dance
here is our December...
Rob's Tree
Festival of Tress

The Nutcracker
My favorite
this was Megs first year and she loved it
which makes me so happy.

Christmas dance performances

Kate. Addie. Meg. Isabelle.

We saw Santa
some of us weren't very happy to see him.

Christmas school programs

Christmas Day
Santa came and left lots of goodies

Christmas morning picture in our Christmas p.j.s
The girls kept saying "did Santa come" to Hank.
I said I wanted to get a pictures and Hank melted...
thinking it was a picture with Santa.
He wouldn't even walk to the family room
I had to carry him screaming
then he saw the toys.

I hope you all had a wonderful December and Christmas.
We did.

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving this year was spent in Hawaii.
I really think it should become a new tradition.
Rod's parents were celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary.
And wanted us all to come along.

We had a wonderful time.
Thanks Grandma and Grandpa.

Something wrong...

Rod asked me tonight "Are we doing something wrong with our kids?  They are so messy"
I told him I don't think we are the only ones with messy kids...are we?

Hank stitches

This morning Hank tried to be superman.
He cut his chin right open.
After washing out the cut, the dr. noticed it was a lot deeper.
He got three internal stitches and 6-7 stitches.

poor little guy.
but I do have to say as active as this kid is, I am surprised this in only his second set of stitches.

Halloween

My mom had her annual Halloween Party.
The costumes were definitely stepped up this year.

We also had a Halloween Party at Grandma and Grandpa Poulsen's.

 Donut eating contest
The girls donuts fell on the ground...they had to finish without hands.

Trick or treating with our friends.
I love these two guys!
