Go Babe

This past weekend Rod, Andy (my brother) and Kevin (Andy's bro-in-law) competed in Spudman Triathalon.
While cheering on Rod I would yell "Go Babe" and Kate asked me "Why are you calling him Babe, he isn't and baby...he is a Daddy"

Rod taking off on the bike.
Poor Meg...never gets anything to eat!
Andy and Rod coming in from the bike ride and now they have to go run a 10K.
Look at that smile...he is so excited to run a 10K now.....

Uncle A.J's

Last night we decided to take the long drive down to Santaquin and see my brother A.J. The girls had so much fun with the cows, horses and dirt. My Aunt Liza and Uncle Max have 7 calves. Kate and Meg were both a little nervous with the new baby cows at first. They were only about 5 days old and as Kate would put it "all wobbly". After about a hour or so Meg would walk over and bang on the cows pens to let her in.

After both the girls and myself rode the pony we went to dinner with my dad and AJ. Then we decided to go back to AJ and have a bonfire. It made me nervous with Meg especially after she had 5 marshmallows a package of graham crackers and Hersey bars and about a can of pop she was a little tipsy. and not the mention filthy. I am getting better about letting her get dirty, but it still drives me crazy because she loves to be so dirty.

She was piling the dirt on her lap...and notice the face.

Kate was so good on the horse in the video Aj was holding the rope, but after a while she was riding it with no one holding the horse. She was so proud of herself.

We put this hat on Meg and all she wanted was the hat off.

They're gone!!!!

On July 1st I had my tonsils taken out. It has been a very painful 11 days, but hopefully I wont get sick anymore. Rod has been such a trooper stepping up and taken over all rolls in the house. I spent two days while Rod was working at my aunt Cathy's house. Thank you so much Cathy....my girls had so much fun. I am starting to feel better, but eating hurts so bad. Anyways we are moving along at our house. Thanks to everyone who has helped me and my family.
