Books?

We are starting a new year with our book club and need some suggestions on some good books. We have been reading a lot of HEAVY books lately and so we are looking for a good variety. If you have a book(s) you would recommend please let me know.

St. George

A couple of weekends ago we went to St. George. We were able to have my mom come with us and we had a wonderful RELAXING weekend. The weather was wonderful low to mid 70's.

We went fishing one day and Kate caught two fish with the little barbie fishing pole. Kate liked holding the fishing pole but as soon as a fish caught on she was out of there. She thought she was going to have to touch it.

I know this is cruel, but this is how Meggies fished and didn't know the better.

Baby things

I am looking for some baby things....
1. I am looking for a baby sling. There are so many out there really cheap and really expensive. If anyone has had one that they like or didn't like please let me know.

2. Baby boy bedding. I would like to do the baby's room in mostly red and white. I am fine with some navy or tan or blue, but want mostly red and white. I have looked into having some people make them for me, but haven't worked out. If you are a good sewer or know someone that is...please let me know. I would like a bumper, crib sheet, skirt and quilt.

Warm days

Last week we had a warm day and so we headed to the park. The girls were so excited to just run around and play. I am really getting sick of the cold weather..although I know when it gets really hot this summer I will complain it is too HOT! But I am ready for warm weather. Kate gets up every morning and asks what the weather is going to be and if she can wear a short sleeve shirt...someday!

Baby moves

Last night Rod felt the baby move for the first time. I love to see that time when the baby gives a big kick and Rod's eyes light up.

Kate says...

Last night while driving home Kate and I had the following conversation.

K: Mom does Daddy have to go to work tomorrow
E: Yes
K: I don't like it when Daddy goes to work
E: I know, but he has to go to work so we can have a house, clothes and food
K: But Jesus gives us our food.

Enough said.....
