Eating

i am struggling with what I should be eating before I work out in the mornings.
for those of you that exercise in the morning...
what do you eat before you work out?
i guess it could be open to all who work out.
i don't like to eat much before but I need to eat something to fuel my body?

I have to eat something too. Usually a bannana or a protein shake. Sometimes I use the kirkland canned slim fast....not to lose weight but because it gives me good calories instantly. By the way Good job on your tri!

Since I go so early, I don't usually eat. But on the rare mornings I work out later, I try to have a banana and wheat toast. It's tough to figure out how much so you don't feel sick as you work out!

I love my slim fast! I have it about a half an hour before I work out and it works like a charm.

Ditto with what Lea said. I never eat before working out, but I work out early. I'd stick with a banana and wheat toast.

I think it depends what kind of work out. If your running I wouldnty eat anything. That way it wont come back up;)Biking i think you could eat something with a carb and a protein. Good luck:0)
