I dont want you to be a grandma...

this is the conversation kate and i had yesterday in the car...

kate: mom, when will you be a grandma?

me: hopefully not for a long time. you are too young to have a baby.

kate: well when will you get crinkly skin like grandmas have?

me: not until you are older.

kate: well I don't want you to be a grandma and i don't want any kids?

me: why?

kate: I don't want to have my stomach cut open to get the baby out.

This is not quiet the response from mckena, but still rather amusing.
