Dance at Boondocks

Kate had a dance performance Monday at Boondocks. It is fun to watch her dance cause she actually will know the dances now and just loves it. Wait till you see these costumes. She told me this morning while getting ready for dance class in her Pink leotard and tights that she likes her performance dress better...just wait...

Meggie wanted her picture taken while we were waiting...she is really getting the head tilt down.

How about those outfits?
She wouldn't smile but I guess she is through the tongue stuck out.

I know this video is really short but you can still see her for a minute. And I really didn't know what I was doing...new camera.

Camping

We went this past weekend camping with my dad's side of the family. We had so much fun. I didn't do really anything except sit on my can..but we all still had a lot of fun. I think my girls were so excited to play and get as dirt as they wanted...and they did. We all reeked of campfire and dirt, but we had a great time.

Meggies trip started off with her favorite a bag of funnyons

Granna and Meggie...Granna and Grandpa and Liza and Max came and spent the day with us on Thursday.

This hill was right next to our camp. The kids would just walk up and down and up and down. I might not look this steep, but it really was. Granna said she felt like she was going to fall off the back of the 4-wheeler when she rode up with Thomas.

Scottie took Grandpa to the top of the hill.

AJ and Meggie and Grandpa. AJ brought Rooster and Meggie (well most of the kids) just followed him around the whole time. Great babysitter.

Rooster. He is such a great dog..he never barks and just lets the kids play with him.

Grandpa and Granna and Kate

Kate...it was so cold. We had a campfire all day long.

Kate and Addie. The kids loved playing a pretending to drive on the 4-wheelers.

Here is our load of kids...and not all of the grandkids went with us.

Tre, Isaac Meggie and Izzy in the back

Meggie and Rod and Kate...they were going on a long 4-wheeler ride to an old abandoned train tunnel

Everyone except me loaded up for the 4-wheeler ride to the train tunnel.
All of this came from my Grandparents only having 2 kids...they have 19 grandkids w/spouses....and 22 great-grandkids with one on the way.

Kate doing a back bend on the 4-wheeler in the train tunnel. And Meggie doing her picture pose.

Happy Easter

We decorated eggs on Saturday morning. Kate was pretty impressed that daddy and mommy could do two colors on the eggs.

Here are the girls in their Easter dresses.
Kate....pictures like this make me sad because my baby is growing up too fast.
Meggie...This little girl just makes me smile.

Warm weather

We finally are getting more and more warm days. Today is suppose to be in the high 60's. I am watching the twins today so we decided to go to the park because tomorrow we are going to be back inside because of cold weather. The kids just ran around crazy like they have been locked up inside or something.
