Thanks Santa!

Christmas Eve started with sledding at Solider Hollow. This is the way to go sledding. Just hop on the tube and get pulled up the hill. We had so much fun. The girls just screamed and laughed...I love seeing them so happy. meggie and daddy

the girls got a house for the polly pockets and dress-up shoes. this house has been one of the best presents they have ever gotten....they will play all day with the house and most of the time no fighting.

Nutcracker

Since I was a little girl my grandparents took all the grandchildren to see the nutcracker. Over the years the boys have dropped out and I have now started talking my own daughter. It is truly one of my favorite things of Christmas.

Cutest house on the block

This morning we decorated our gingerbread house. The girls had so much fun and did a really cute job. Megs would put one candy on the house and one in her mouth. She really liked the coconut for the fake snow

Sweet Girl

This morning while the girls were eating breakfast I went to dress and feed Hank. I asked Kate to put away the silverware from the dishwasher. After I put Hanks down I saw that Kate had unloaded the dishwasher and put away the silverware. Thanks Kate!
Meggie wanted her picture taken too...these were the poses she came up with without falling from slippery jammies.

For My Birthday

Meggies new favorite phrase is " I got it for my birthday. This is what she says when she doesn't want to share what she is playing with or holding. Yesterday, Kate had her tonsils removed and the hospital gave her a Dora tent. Meggie didn't want Kate inside the tent so stated "Mom, I got it for my birthday" Needless to say Kate didn't have to get out.

Princesses

Rods parents took the girls to the Disney Princess on Ice. My girls loved it except when the witches came out. It was so fun to go with my girls and just watch their eyes light up with such excitement from the princesses. Kate said her favorite princess was Jasmine and Meggie loves Cinderella.

5 Months

I know I always say this but I can't believe my baby is this old...5 months. He is such a good baby. He just learned to roll over from his tummy to his back.

I love to play and smile at everyone. We just started baby cereal and he doesn't really like it, but like to spit it off his tongue. He is growing so tall and starting to thicken up. I love this sweet baby.

My moms Halloween Party...I wish I would have gotten more pictures of the party..there were some great costume. That is Jimmy and Linzi in the blue as SMURFS!

By the time Halloween came we hardly wanted to get ready to go. Kate had a dance performance, dance party, school party, two family parties... She was all costumed out. She only wore about half of her costume. She was finally tired of wearing it all. But the girls loved trick or treating. They just ran from house to house and were so happy of all the candy.

Magic Potion

I have glass shower doors and can't find anything to make the glass really clean. Does anyone know of a magic potion that can get glass shower doors looking really good???

Kate Says

Yesterday I had a friend tell me that her daughter thought I was pretty... So I told Rod what she said...

I am not putting this so anyone needs to tell me I am pretty...I just thought it was funny.

Scarecrow Festival

This past weekend Kate performed at the Scarecrow Festival. Mom and Patti decided to come and we had a wonderful day of playing and warm weather. The kids had so much fun running around and playing on everything.

Bad Mom

Do you ever feel like a bad mom...
Tonight I felt like a bad mom. My girls had already watched too much TV today, but I needed a break tonight and I let them watch more. I wanted to vacuum my house and left Hank in the bouncer crying until I was done. I don't think I am a horrible mom. but tonight maybe not a good one.

Crazy Sleepers

I have always been a crazy sleeper. I talk, sleep-walk, wiggle. Poor Rod he has been woken up many mights from from my rants and raves during sleep. Last night while checking on the girls this is what we found. I guess the have gotten my bad sleeping. Meggie was scooted all the way down to the bottom of her bed..even her pillows was with her.
Kate was hanging off the side of her bed...this one is actually pretty uncommon for Kate. She rarely looks like she ever moves during her sleep.
