What you never want to hear...

"Your belly is getting so big"
(Heard today while I was exercising.
I expect it from my kids...but not an adult)

Parks and lots of dance

This past weekend we were able to go to St. George.
The weather was wonderful.
We visited at least two parks a day.
Played a little pickle ball.
Swam and just enjoyed the warm weather.

The girls had a dance competition
Kate

 Kates team place 1st
mini amateur-intermediate -lyrical
And Grand champion
 for all mini-amateur-intermediate.

 Izzy and Addie placed 1st
Junior-amateur

 Megs team placed 1st
mini-amateur jazz

Over all we had a great awards weekend.

It was a fun weekend.
Jimmy and Linzi and Mom and AJ and Paul and Dara came down with us.
We were all spread around St. George, but had a wonderful time.
Thanks mom for saving our seat for 6 hours...while we ran in and out during dances and costume changes.

Getting Married

Hank and Meg came out this morning and said we are getting married.
Meg said I am mommy and Hank is daddy.

Baby girl

Baby girl,
You are giving me lots of hunger pains.
But...
Then you give me gas pains and HEARTBURN.
Love, Mom

St. George

This past weekend we went to St. George.
We went out to the sand dunes one day.
My kids felt like they were on the beach in Hawaii.
Some of the highlights of the weekend.
Nick getting stuck in the razor.
Rod rolling the 4-wheeler with Kate.
Hank falling into a cactus.
Poor little guy he was covered with needles.
Kids got to swim in the warm hot tub.
No snow.
Watching Nick compete in dirt bike race.

It was a fun weekend.

Happy Birthday to you....

Meg
I can't believe you are 5 years old.
You were so excited for your birthday,
but when the day came you were so embarrassed.
You kept asking why is everyone calling me.
And singing Happy Birthday to you.

You had a little friends party.
You wanted to go bowling and have pizza.

You didn't want a birthday cake or ice-cream.
Just sugar cookies.
My kind of girl.
Meg you have such a spunky little attitude.
You know what you want and aren't going to settle.
You love to play with your brother and sister.
But also love to tease them.
You are doing so well in school and love seeing your friends there.
You love egg rolls, Edmomae, artichokes, any type of pasta and candy.
You love all dogs, mermaids and cutting pieces of paper.
Once you found out the baby was girl, you love to talk and kiss mommy's tummy.
You are going to be a great big sister.
I love you!
