This was my bedtime conversation with Kate
Kate: "Where is my glow stick" (This glow stick is from the 25 cent machines)
Me: "I don't know it must be lost"
Kate: "My family (stuffed lamb, beaver and blanket) will be scared"
Me: "Family doesn't get scared"
Kate: "When I fall asleep I hear them screaming"
I don't know if this sounds funny, but Rod and I got a good laugh at her.

Happy Birthday Jimmy!
Last night we went down to A.J's house and had a birthday party for Jimmy. We are so excited for Jimmy and Linzi to move home in a couple of weeks. We all know they have had so much fun in Calif...but we have missed having them around.
Sorry Jimmy I didn't get any pictures of you, but I did of your cute Wife with Kate on the horse.

Cannon Reunion
My moms sister and her husband (Roger and Dee Dee) have a ranch up in the Jemez Mountains in New Mexico and the last weekend of July we held the Cannon Family reunion. It was so much fun for my little girls to meet and play with their cousins. We had so much fun sitting on the swings or just laying around chatting on the grass.
Kate and Claire became best little buds..they played so well together. This is where they spent a good amount of the time digging in the horse shoe pits.
Uncle Craig giving horsey rides.
Wrestling with Uncle Craig.
Megs new thing is to try and climb up over your back.
Kate's new hair cut. She wanted it cut and so we cut about 4 inches off...I think she looks so much older.
Meggie the Piggie.
Jack had a birthday and afterwards the kids were playing with the balloons and they kept popping and from the picture you can tell Meg didn't like them. I know I am a mean mom but I had to get a picture.

Uncle Roger trying to look mean.

Kate loves her Robbie.
This is where Meg spent most of her time. She loved playing on the fourwheelers.
Grandma and Megs.
Jake, Robbie & Max walking to the rocks in front of them.

After the reunion my mom and I and the kids went back to Dee Dee and Rogers and spent a few more days. It was so nice one night we just sat outside. Meg came and grabbed my camera and then when and sat by Dee Dee...then she wanted one with Roger.

Thanks Dee Dee and Roger for a fun week!!!!

Uncle A.J's
Last night we decided to take the long drive down to Santaquin and see my brother A.J. The girls had so much fun with the cows, horses and dirt. My Aunt Liza and Uncle Max have 7 calves. Kate and Meg were both a little nervous with the new baby cows at first. They were only about 5 days old and as Kate would put it "all wobbly". After about a hour or so Meg would walk over and bang on the cows pens to let her in.
She was piling the dirt on her lap...and notice the face.
Kate was so good on the horse in the video Aj was holding the rope, but after a while she was riding it with no one holding the horse. She was so proud of herself.
We put this hat on Meg and all she wanted was the hat off.

They're gone!!!!
On July 1st I had my tonsils taken out. It has been a very painful 11 days, but hopefully I wont get sick anymore. Rod has been such a trooper stepping up and taken over all rolls in the house. I spent two days while Rod was working at my aunt Cathy's house. Thank you so much Cathy....my girls had so much fun. I am starting to feel better, but eating hurts so bad. Anyways we are moving along at our house. Thanks to everyone who has helped me and my family.
